Antrim Fly Fair

Joe Stitt is an exceptional Fly Dresser and Fly Caster and has represented  APGAI Ireland at The Game Fair for many years - teaching and  demonstrating. Joe offers fly casting and fly-tying instruction to all levels, and specialises in dry fly and upstream nymph river fishing as well as stillwater Caenis patterns and techniques.

He has fished for trout in Bosnia, Slovenia and extensively throughout the beautiful South Island of New Zealand over many years and can give detailed advice on the subject to Irish anglers planning to visit any of these venues. Joe is a member of the Partridge Pro Team.            

After 50+ years of very enjoyable fly fishing and the luxury of becoming the holder of various qualifications by passing the assessment examinations of several governing bodies throughout the British Isles, including the highest available A.A.P.G.A.I. Masters, I consider it is now time for me to promote the sport as best as I can by sharing my knowledge among the young, the disabled and across the religious boundaries that exist in N.I.
